As per the latest information on Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), formerly, Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), you may apply for a Canadian study permit if you meet the following eligibility requirements.

You are enrolled at a designated learning institution (DLI)

You can prove you have enough money to pay for your: tuition fees,living expenses and return trip for yourself and any family members who come with you to Canada

You have no criminal record and can prove this via a police certificate if required.

You are in good health and can prove this via a medical exam if required.

You can prove that you will be leaving Canada when your study permit expires
